Are you daft? The PS4 port is only an actual start. Real change. Not a bunch of people sitting around bitching about things that don't even matter on a console that is 5 years old and moving no where and I would not be surprised if PS4 puts out an update to compete with Microsoft that makes the PS4 compatible with PS3 games.

So, anything changed as of now means absolutely nothing because you have no real content, or anything to look forward to.

At this point it is clear what CCP and the DUST514 board need to do in every aspect. What game mechanics need fixed, etc, but all of that will mean nothing on an outdated system that is sooner rather than later to be classed with OVG consoles like PS2, Wii, Xbox 360. Etc.

"Lets invest money porting this game, then fix the million problems."

That sounds just like the release of dust.

Maybe I'm not explaining this correctly? They need to make a decision. Is DUST going to have a future or not? If so, is it going to be ported to PS4 or PC? Then once it's decided that it won't be a waste of time to fix all of the broken game mechanics, matchmaking, lag, and PC, they actually do all of those things and port it to PS4. That way there are no misconceptions. CCP can no longer make promises, they can only deliver. They have broken their trust with the community and need to repair their public image. I thought the fixing everything wrong with the game concept just went with PS4 port so I didn't feel the need to state what I thought was obvious. If you're going to be bad be bad with a purpose.
